Chi Machine

THE GREAT CHI MACHINE

I thought I would share with you a great machine for those of you that suffer with back problems. Back when I started my exercise program I Suffered from pain around my coccyx which is the bone at the bottom of our spine sometimes refered to as the tail bone. I hadn’t fallen on my butt the pain just started one day and stayed.I went to the Doctors and was examined, had xrays and nothing could be found. I thought the exercise that I had started may help.

Then a friend mentioned that they had a chi machine. My friends mother had bought this machine several years ago and used it a few times and then it made its way to the attic which is where it stayed. He didn’t know anything about the chi machine only that it was supposed to help back pain. Well I was up for anything to get rid of this pain, I just wanted to sit down again without it hurting.

I collected the chi machine from my friend and didn’t know how it was supposed to be used, there was no instructions with it. It also looked kind of old. This machine had a base with a handle and a double UU type fitting on top which moved from side to side when you plugged it into the mains, it also had a timer switch on a cord.

I did some research and  found out exactly what the chi machine does to help your back and how to use it. It is quite amazing the movement was originally based on the fish and when you use this machine the spine qently sways from side to side. It not only helps the back but basically gives you a different kind of massage that leaves you totally revitalized and full of energy.

There are many things that this machine can help with like headaches/migraines, misaligned spine, tension, insomnia, weight loss and shoulder problems to name just a few. I use mine on a daily basis and I will say that my problem has eased up considerably and even if it hadn’t I would still use it for the shear feeling you get after 15 minutes use, it is just so energizing.

Now I cannot 100% say that the chi machine is solely responsible for easing my coccyx pain, maybe it is but it could be regular exercise that has eased it or a combination of the two. But what ever it is I am grateful  and love the chi machine anyway.
