Exercise And Fitness
Why do we bother, do we really need to exercise regularly or is it all just a waste of time. First off, it is not a waste of time. Exercise is about more than just keeping fit and healthy, it is a contributor to being healthy but not the be all and end all of our health. Exercise gives us more than fitness alone it gives us strength, power, confidence and well being.
We can’t solve the many health issues that can affect any of our lives with just exercise, but it will always help. If we are fit and healthy then we have more chance of avoiding or fighting off many illnesses. So regular exercise with a healthy balanced diet will keep us at our best and strongest. But exercise is about more than that, it can give you a real sense of achievement and that goes a long way to producing a positive lifestyle.
Before we start a Workout Routine it is hard sometimes to get motivated to actually go ahead with it, especially if we are leaving our bed early to fit it in to our daily schedule. It is so easy to say to ourselves, it won’t matter if I miss it just this once, I will make up for it next time which we never do and that can be the start of giving up exercise all together. It takes a lot to make ourselves do it sometimes, but when we have how does that feel, great.
The Feel Good Factor rushes through our whole body, we feel tired from our workout but at the same time we feel we can achieve anything. This puts us in a positive frame of mind, it escalates our confidence and gives us the power to go out and take the world by storm. Now you might not go out and suddenly become the President of America but you will achieve more in your working life generally, you will identify with opportunities you will have the motivation to push for better things and you will feel empowered by life.
Can exercise really do all that for me, yes it can. Now look at the non exerciser dragging themselves from their bed, hating every minute of getting ready for another day doing what they don’t want to do. They don’t identify with opportunities that literally slap them in the face because they are so drowned down by negatives, they can’t see anything better and it just seems out of reach any way so why bother. They don’t feel empowered by life they just find it hard.
I am not saying that any one that doesn’t exercise is just like the example above, it is just my way of getting accross the point that exercise is not all about fitness and health, it is also about the mind and it really can have a very positive effect on how we see life and what we do in life. Try It !
